Bandaranaike International Airport, also known as Colombo International Airport and locally as Katunayake International Airport, is the main airport to which most international airlines fly. The Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, also known as the Hambantota International Airport, is situated in the south of the island. The IATA code for flights to this airport is HRI.
